First painting pictures - Malifaux

Took some photos of my latest painting project - My Malifaux Crew - really pleased with the way the first rotten belle has come out (photo doesn't do the paint work justice). Im also very happy with the micro art studio bases I brought and the way they pic up the highlighting.

So I've completed one 'Rotten Belle' and finished the basing on all of the other Resurrectionist models. I need to re-do the highlighting on Hamelins base, because my shading wash was too heavy :(

Hamelins Base by the way was the standard 50mm base with my own hand sculpted paving effect, using good old green stuff. I love the way it turned out, but not convinced I want to do the sculpting on all my models. Do I take the easy option and get more micro art bases or do I sculpt more?

Talking of bases I'm planing on doing my 'puppet war' models with a floorboard effect and brought some thin balsa wood strips today from Hobbycraft.

Now I just need to find out how to include some photos and how to take better photos :D

My first post

OK so just started this to see how I go on hopefully once I work out what you actually do and all the functions etc, I can start putting some more detailed content.
For now all I can say is i hope to post updates on all my current gaming projects.
I play Magic the gathering, Warhammer Fantasy, Warhammer 40K, Warmaster Ancients, Numerous boardgames wtc and just gotten into 6mm Polemos american civil war and also my biggest buzz for a long time - Malifaux! so expect plenty of Malifaux painting updates, as I put my first crew together and get them painted up along with my first few games. Already got 5 games of Malifaux under my belt, but still feel like a newbie :) anyway got to go plenty of christmas stuff to sort out yet.
